Prep video
This is a video of 'Paranormal Activity' to give the idea on how it is all set out under such a small budget.
hopefully this will give the understanding on the reason i use certain shots and why i will film it like i do. The shots used in this will be used in mine as well.
I will use some of the shots for my film as they show a large area of 'Mise en scene' which means you will see everything in the shot, also it allows me to show the whole house and the area its set in.
The only difference between the shots used in the trailer compared to what i'm going to use in my film is the lighting effect. I plan to use some lighting effects to create a dull atmosphere but not the same blue night/scifi effect which is used in Paranormal Activity.
The effects which i plan on using are Dark Effect which is a green mix between black and dark colours which produces a green feel to the face causing it to create a strange scary atmosphere.

The scene needs to be as closed as it possibly can which means everything in the scene needs to be desecrate so you never actually know whats going to happen.
I will be using still camera shots around the house to show to layout of everything.
this will be followed with steady cams following (Harry) were ever he goes.
also there will be slow steady cams to show the relaxed atmosphere of the house until things go wrong were the camera will be used in a P.O.V to create the effect of the lenses being someones eyes and them moving around.
there will also be speeded up shots of day falling into night to create the effect of the day moving really fast but the inside of the house moving very slow.
If all this goes to plan i will be able to create some very good cuts in it and the 180 degree rule.
As used in the 'Preliminary Task' my 180 degree shot was not all used in the same location but different area so i might put that into my actual video.
There will be 3 out takes of my film in 3 different shot styles to see which is the best out come which them i will put into my official video.

EVALUATION OF MY PRELIMINARY TASK!
This is my analysis/ evaluation for my preliminary task.
Problems and errors
First Problems are that my cuts are not smooth enough. you can see this as the direction of the person has gradually moved for the original spacing. this happens at the start of the scene when harry walks through the door to witness someone in his room. also there are problems with 'action' call outs because you can here me saying 'action' at the start of the scenes. an example of this is when Harriet (girl lying down) has a close up on her and sits up with the counter of the music. you can here the 'ion' where it has been cut out. In response to this i decided to dim the voices in the background and stage to sound effects louder than i would have planned although you can still hear whats being said.
Harry in one of the scenes (flashback) is suppose to be involved in a serious moment but smiles instead so i had to blank out speech volume and boost the background volume to counter the laughing but still keeping all the lines and whats being said the same.
Good points.
The music and sound editing are very good and all work well with the tracking and back ground music. it is also not out of focus which makes it flow well with the film, another good thing is that all the speech is very clear and easy to listen to whilst using contrasts and audio effects which create the atmosphere. Medium room meant the voice didn't sound to close to every thing else in the room and the camera, so the medium effect means that it is more spaced out and gives of an echo to the viewer showing how far apart the two people are. there was also large room used when it goes to the flash back which creates a dreamy sound and makes it seem more like it in the past.
The camera effects have also worked well as i used a sifi effect which links in towards what research I'm looking at from Paranormal activity and other horror films. the dark blue/ green effect works really well because it makes the atmosphere dull and cold which i wanted. this means i could get a good idea on what props i will need for the future because the lenses effects are the most important principals in the film.

this lenses fade is what creates the atmosphere for the whole of the paranormal set. using a blue lenses creates the dark cold effect which is needed to create a realistic effect towards to audience. Also it is a very cheap method to creating a great effect of night time. you can use plastic material and acrylic plastics to get the same effect as a £300 camera lenses you would use in a real film. i plan to use samples of these lenses types by making short film cuts and small films to see what the effect would be.

music ideas
the music i am targeting for my video start in the intro is very serial and haunting, but almost comic at the same time so i am making links of using the songs i find and then using them to help create something in the same way on Garage Band. http://youtu.be/_vuwTrKtlfU is music from a horror clown film which is carnival like and still spooky and stereo typical towards clowns. http://youtu.be/EmNdfS6lr5s this link is from 'INSIDIOUS' which is a very dark calm approach which then turns out very scary and moving towards the audience and also relates to the horror which is there by using squeaky violins.
What I want my film to look like
Paranormal Activity is the style I am basing my Short Film on. i have very simply used a scifi style camera lenses which create a dark blue effect which ties into what paranormal activity looks like. my film is not anything like paranormal activity at the moment as there are lots of areas i need to work on. my film will now be burnt onto a disk ready to play. this follows with many special effects and sounds and also including a title page for a DVD. hopefully in my Full movie i will be able to act on as Paranormal Activity. http://youtu.be/F_UxLEqd074 --------> That is the link for the trailer for Paranormal Activity which has the lenses and events that i want to put into my film.

media film board
this is the image i tried to create from my short 180 degree rule film, the idea is linked to to my actual foundation production. the plot for my short film was Harry (harry T) walks into his room to find someone who is the same character type as the girl from 'The Ring' (harriet B). using Close up shot at the start shows him opening the door by pulling the door handle, which then moves into a medium long shot to show him walking through the door to find out whats in his room. then a wide shot is used to show the area which the scene is set in. then it moves back and forth using the 180 degree rule between both characters from behind the head. also it uses extreme close ups on both facial expressions (harry- scared) (harriet- opens eyes scary). 
also i used a scene from paranormal activity of harriet running at harry and rugby tackling him through the door.

. This link should hopefully work! If not I will link one once I get onto my laptop. I have also got a 180' degree rule film board which has the images of the area of a film I am making. The film is 43 seconds long and has 2 actors/actress's in it. The male is the innocent whilst the woman is the possessed person(in the style of the ring). This happens in he scene of a room where the lady is led down, then the man walks in in shock to see her there! The 180' degree shot is used for 30 seconds in different shot angles and also using medium close ups, extreme close ups, close ups and wide shots all in steady cam to get a life like effect. The man is very scared and starts asking questions whilst backing away and the woman moving closer towards him for her then to launch her self at him (rugby tackling) him through the door. THE END!

Movie ideas( changed from magazine to movie)
im going to use ideas from a paranormal style film intro linked into horror and shock. the basic idea is- starting with a man who has been searching about shock sites and paranormal events in his own time because he was bored, this then led to him clicking on something which was going to haunt him. after looking and coming of the internet he then hears a screem coming from up stairs. Then things start going bad from there......................................... wait and see.
